  4. Refuge Church joined forces with The Nourishing Network and other local churches to provide Christmas meals for families-in-need. Here’s a note about the full initiative: “I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your generosity, which made this year’s Holiday Meal program a blessing for so many. Thanks to you, 326 meals were delivered to families on December 23rd! Your kindness, generosity and service enriched lives and improved our community.  For that and for you, I am very grateful.” – Thame Fuller, Nourishing Network

Bible Story: Jesus in the Temple

Big Idea: Jesus grew in wisdom and favor by spending time in His Father’s House.

When Jesus was twelve years old, his parents accidently left Him in Jerusalem. Can you believe that? After three days of searching, they found Him sitting in the Temple, talking with the religious leaders. The Bible says, “Everyone who heard him was amazed at how much he understood. They also were amazed at his answers.” The Bible also says that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” And He grew because He spent time with His Father.
